Feminist Webs is running a project in 2014 looking at the needs of young women from 1914 to 2014, with a particular emphasis on anti-violence and peace in our lives. Four youth groups are going to help create an film looking at what young women said they wanted in 1914 and what has changed since. The film will be shown at Suffragette Legacy: How does the History of Feminism Inspire Current Thinking in Manchester? event on 8 March 2014 at the People’s History Museum as part of the Manchester Wonder Women events celebrating International Women’s Day 2014. Thanks to Manchester Council for helping fund this project.
