The Women’s Words project invites women with any link to Manchester – whether through birth, work or home – to submit up to 1000 words (stories, poems, memories, lists, reflections) about living and working in the city. The Pankhurst Centre is working with the City Council and Arts Council England to gather the memories and experiences of local women of all backgrounds, for display and collection in the Central Library Archive. If you support young women aged 16+, why not get them involved? More stories in the November newsletter here.
